I conclude Home Appliance Care has absolutely no system for follow up and little concern for their clients. The gentleman was here in less than an hour, he came in the house, located the problem, had the part in his truck and the part was replaced and the fridge was in working order very quickly. I would gladly recommend this company, whom I had received the recommendation from my family to call them. I have dealt with a number of companies over the years and truly have never had such efficient service.

We followed the tech's advice to call and see if his next service call could be pushed back, or if he could have authorization to stay. Instead, we were spoken to rudely, and were put on the defensive for having our words misinterpreted. When I did call Home Appliance Care weeks later, I was told that it was GE who requested for our file to be permanently closed, when in fact it was Home Appliance Care that did. People who write reviews have ownership to edit or delete them at any time, and they’ll be displayed as long as an account is active. The bake element on our Dacor wall oven stopped working just before Christmas leaving us in the lurch suddenly.

I'm happy with the outcome and look forward to their help the next time an appliance breaks. All in all, I spent just over $400 to fix the problem when a replacement oven would have cost well over $5,000 so I am a very happy customer of Home Appliance Care and Minh in particular. I would recommend them any time based on my experience. That same day, we were told that a new part would be ordered for us. This was never done, in fact our file was closed that day as Home Appliance Care no longer wanted to service our address. Of course we were never notified of this, and only found out weeks later, while waiting for a phone call that never happened.

The original repair left us worse off, as a loud buzzing coming from the appliance could be heard as soon as the new part was put in, (think corona discharge-like sound). After asking the technician if he could stay to revert it back to the old part, which was buzz-free, he told us to call the office and see if this would be possible, which we did. We asked the customer service rep if the technician's next call could be pushed back and whether he could stay to revert the part back. The entire conversation escalated quickly and unnecessarily.

More than a month ago I managed to short out the power board on my Fisher Paykel wall oven and Home Appliance Care dispatched a technician promptly who diagnosed problem. After being assured that the needed replacement part was available and they would call us promptly to set up time for the final repair nothing happened. After a week I called only to be told the part had not yet arrived but that they would call when it did. Follow up calls every three or four days elicited the same response. Finally after three weeks and my request to speak to a manager, someone looked into the problem and found that the delivery of the original part had gone missing and it needed to be back ordered. Today I am told the delivery will be made to the technician's home but he won't be available to do the repair until Tuesday of next week.
I contacted Home Appliance Care Gloucester and received courteous and prompt help to diagnose the problem. Their technician, Minh, was knowledgeable and efficient in diagnosing the problem as a burnt bake relay in the control board. This is the average rating based on homeowner reviews.
